The groom's haircut, in the getting-ready suite.
A licensed SNYP barber comes to your hotel suite, venue, or home on the day, cuts the groom and the party, and leaves the room as they found it. Same prices as any SNYP appointment.
For the morning of, and the days around it.
Wedding mornings run on a schedule set by the photographer. SNYP brings the haircut to wherever the party is getting ready, so nobody leaves the suite to sit in a shop across town.
- The groom: a haircut, or a haircut and beard, timed to finish before photos start.
- The groomsmen and fathers: one after another in the same room.
- Rehearsal dinners, bar and bat mitzvahs, and family events: the same setup, for the people you name.
- Upsherin and first haircuts: by arrangement, at home.
What the barber brings.
Tools, capes, fresh towels, a floor mat, a portable light, and a handheld vacuum. You provide a seat and a little floor space near a window or a mirror. When the last cut is done, the barber vacuums the mat and the floor around it and wipes down, so the suite is ready for photos.
How a wedding booking works.

Send the date, at least 72 hours ahead.
Call or email with the date, the venue or hotel, how many people, and when photos start.

Get a quote.
SNYP confirms the start time, how many barbers are coming, and the total at menu prices.

Confirm.
Same terms as any SNYP appointment: free to cancel up to 24 hours before, up to 50% charged inside 24 hours.

On the day.
Each barber takes up to three people, and the start time is set so the last cut finishes before the photographer needs the room.
What it costs.
The same menu prices, per person: a haircut is $175 and a haircut and beard is $225. Travel, tools, and cleanup are included, and there is no event surcharge. Gratuity is never expected.

How much does a wedding barber cost?
The same as any SNYP appointment, per person: $175 for a haircut and $225 for a haircut and beard, with travel, tools, and cleanup included. There is no event surcharge.
Can you cut the whole groomsmen party?
Yes. Each barber takes up to three people, one after another in the same room. For four to six people, a second barber comes. For a larger party, send the number and we'll tell you how many barbers we can send. Tell us how many people and when photos start, and we'll set the start time so the party is scheduled to finish before the photographer needs the room.
How far ahead should we book?
At least 72 hours before. Earlier is better in wedding season, since each barber takes up to three people.
What days can you come?
SNYP's regular hours are Sunday to Thursday, 9am to 10pm, and Friday, 9am to 2pm. For a wedding or event on another day, send the date first and we'll tell you whether we can cover it before anything is booked.
